This course is tailored for individuals responsible for providing first aid to someone experiencing asthma or anaphylaxis until medical help arrives. Participants will learn to recognise triggers, signs, and symptoms and apply standard first aid procedures to administer the appropriate medication for the condition.
By completing this course, students gain the skills to develop and implement risk management and minimisation strategies for those at risk of asthma and anaphylaxis in the workplace. This includes conducting pre-emergency risk assessments and creating individual management plans.
This nationally recognised training is ideal for workplace first aiders across any industry. It equips them to care for adults and children in the workplace who may be at risk or show symptoms of asthma or anaphylaxis.

Assessment:
This assessment consists of both online and practical components. It includes completing online theory tasks and practical assessment activities.

Outcomes:
Upon completing this First Aid course, participants will be awarded the nationally accredited statement of attainment.
